Heritage Coast is one of the finest coastlines in England,

Castles
In addition the area is steeped in history with numerous castles
scattered up and down the coast. Warkworth in particular is
dominated by its castle, making an impressive focal point
within the village.
Villages
In contrast Amble is a small fishing village on the mouth
of the Coquet, and so is centred around its picturesque yet
busy harbour and marina, offering boat trips around the RSPB
reserve of Coquet Island.
Activities
Alnmouth
boasts the nearest and second oldest golf course in the county,
spectacularly situated so that you can enjoy astounding sea
views throughout your round.
Explore Alnwick
The market
town of Alnwick is just 7 miles north of Warkworth. Its splendid
castle and spectacular new Alnwick Gardens are home to the
Duke and Duchess of Northumberland.
