- From the South: On the Al, 11.5 miles north of Morpeth and 3.3 mi\es after returning to
dual carriageway, take the first turning right for Shilbottle, at the bottom of the hill. After
the cobbled road, take the next right turn into the very small village of Hampeth. After
passing through Hampeth take the next right, signposted for Hartlaw & Brainshaugh.
Follow the road for 3 miles, where it ends in a T-junction. Turn left, and then first right,
signposted to High Buston & Ainmouth. Low Buston is the next farm you get to, with
the cottages situated on the farm steading on the left hand side of the road. You will have
to turn left, back on yourself, passing 8 green garage doors and then around
the large grey shed, to reach them. Welcome to Low Buston!
- From the North: Leave the Al at Denwick, just north ofAlnwick. Turn right at the end
of the slip road and follow the road into Alnwick where it will end in a T-junction. Turn
left and then at the next roundabout take the second exit, the A 1068 for Ashington. Two
miles from the roundabout in Hipsburn, still on the A1068, turn right which is signposted
for Shortridge Hall, Low Buston and Shilbottle. Take the next right hand turn up over a
railway bridge. Low Buston Farm is the next farm you get to 0.8 miles from this bridge.
Drive between the stone wall and the 8 garage doors and then around the large grey shed
to reach them. Welcome to Low Buston!
