• Approaching from the north and south, leave the A1 to join B6345 signposted for Christon Bank and Seahouses, follow signs for Christon Bank.
• Continue through Christon Bank until the road ends at a junction.
• Take the road almost straight ahead, signposted for Low Newton-by-the-Sea.
• Travel through the village and, on seeing the sea, Seawinds cottage, on Boatmans Place, is second on the right.
